Lesson 101 to self-publishing a book.
Edit...then publish. OH! I swear I knew that but the excitement shrunk my brain.
I finally got past the excitement of writing a book and did the right thing and paid someone to edit it. This way when you say...shouldn't there have been a period or comma there? I can simply say...blame my editor.
My wonderful Editor, who definitely gets my dry sense of humor (his is worse) liked what he called "Chick Lit" and finished editing my book, line by line by line by line. He claims I have a phobia to commas. We argued over this but he wins since he is Welsh. So although everyone so far has enjoyed my book, despite the fact that my grade in all those English classes should have been lower, it has been properly edited.
I have currently completed 21 chapters to the 2nd book so I might just meet the deadline I put on myself, End of April. I have beta readers signed on to let me know what will need work and Geoff the Grammar Nazi will gladly make the corrections before I put it out there.
I have submitted, for the love of God, I hope, the final edition of "Gift of Sight" on Amazon today so it will be available starting tomorrow morning. Of course Smashwords has it right now. Since they are who I am using as a publisher, they will get the right copy in your hands, through all the right channels, within the next week or two.
Where it will be available...Amazon, B&N, KoBo, Sony, Apple, Diesel, Flipkart, Oyster, Scribd, Page Foundry and Library Direct. When Google Play has their webpage up and running It will be available there as well.
Thanks to everyone for being patient. I will keep you posted on the 2nd book. Erin Manbeck-Gifted Trilogy

So my book is now available through Amazon, Google Play, Apple, and Smashwords. I wouldn't suggest B&N yet because the cover image hasn't appeared. Kobo should be soon as well. Sony???? When they are ready.

What happens when you have no PATIENCE!
As a lot of you know...I have no patience. I was so excited about getting my story out I didn't look at the bigger picture. I wanted to give you all something that I loved and was proud of. I gave you one, I love my story, I loved writing it, and I'm going to continue. The second...I failed. The excitement pulled me away from what readers like besides a great story...a well edited product.
I will never be afraid to admit my mistakes but the good thing is that this is one I can fix. I have done the right thing and had the book edited because even with helpful eyes reviewing a book, you get so caught up in the story, you sometimes don't see those dirty grammar errors (good sign that the book is great).
So short story long, ha...I have uploaded a new version of my book on Kindle that will be available tomorrow. I won't promote the other stores where you can find it until the corrected copy of it is in their hands as well. For those of you who already purchased it...when the new version is out Amazon says you just have to put your book in the cloud, power down your Kindle, turn it back on and hit sync. That should give you the newest version. If it doesn't, let them know and they will make sure you have it.
Lastly, Thank you all for the supportive words of encouragement. I am definitely working on the second book. I will keep you all posted on when my book is available with other on line stores. Talk to you soon.

Here's a new book for all to check out!
GIFT OF SIGHT: FIRST BOOK IN THE GIFTED SERIES
What every girl wants…a manipulating boyfriend, hidden powers and to find out the only person you trust explicitly is hiding the truth.
After witnessing her parents’ abduction when she was 13, Regan O’Rodaigh turned to the one person she could always count on, her Grandmother. Gram teaches Regan the important things; what it takes to be strong, independent, and that you should always trust your gut. So seven years later Regan's life seems to be on track as she is going to college, dating Sam, the campus hottie, and has the most amazing best friend, Jackpot. If she could just manage not to be such a smart ass life would be perfect…but according to who?
It takes a year of dating for Regan to finally realize that Sam is not her future. The problem with that is Sam won’t let go. He believes she is the key to him ruling in a world that Regan never knew existed. What does Regan do when apparently nothing is what it seems and she doesn't know who to trust? She gets ticked off, follows her gut, and gets ready to take anyone down who steps in her way.
Jake has never been in love. That is until he meets his newest assignment and wants nothing more than to be the man she wraps her arms, and hopefully her legs, around at the end of the day. He will protect her with every power he has but can he avoid having his heart broken in the process.
