I know I've been slacking a little on keeping you all up to date on my writing, but things have been a little crazy on the home front. I will always put my family above all else and I'm sure you understand that. I work a full time job as well, so that sucks the life out of me sometimes, but through it all I understand this...
Life has always had it's ups and downs for all of us and at the end of the day one up and can erase or help you forget the downs. That one up can put a contagious smile on your face that will brighten not only your day, but others around you and knock that little demon off your shoulder that's been trying to fight his/her way for control.
My up right now is that my niece will be bringing a beautiful little girl into the world tomorrow, unless she's stubborn like the rest of us Ruddy clan and hangs out until Tuesday, and I couldn't be happier. If you only knew her you would understand my excitement because she is a strong, beautiful woman who is going to be an amazing mother.
I'll be writing again soon because the story is already playing out in my head, but in the mean time I'm getting ready for a blog tour. I'll keep you posted on that. I just had a blogger read the trilogy and she loved it and will be posting her review on 8 Oct. I'll share it with you all when it's out.
Also, since I'm babbling, if you are a writer and someone asks to read your book in return for a review...make sure that the person actually reads your genre. I had a blogger request the book and I didn't do my research. If the person mostly only reads books on history and cooking...don't expect a great review when you give her a paranormal fantasy romance. Blah to her for using me. hahahaha
