I know I've been slacking a little on keeping you all up to date on my writing, but things have been a little crazy on the home front. I will always put my family above all else and I'm sure you understand that. I work a full time job as well, so that sucks the life out of me sometimes, but through it all I understand this...
Life has always had it's ups and downs for all of us and at the end of the day one up and can erase or help you forget the downs. That one up can put a contagious smile on your face that will brighten not only your day, but others around you and knock that little demon off your shoulder that's been trying to fight his/her way for control.
My up right now is that my niece will be bringing a beautiful little girl into the world tomorrow, unless she's stubborn like the rest of us Ruddy clan and hangs out until Tuesday, and I couldn't be happier. If you only knew her you would understand my excitement because she is a strong, beautiful woman who is going to be an amazing mother.
I'll be writing again soon because the story is already playing out in my head, but in the mean time I'm getting ready for a blog tour. I'll keep you posted on that. I just had a blogger read the trilogy and she loved it and will be posting her review on 8 Oct. I'll share it with you all when it's out.
Also, since I'm babbling, if you are a writer and someone asks to read your book in return for a review...make sure that the person actually reads your genre. I had a blogger request the book and I didn't do my research. If the person mostly only reads books on history and cooking...don't expect a great review when you give her a paranormal fantasy romance. Blah to her for using me. hahahaha
This is all for now and I'll talk to you all again soon.

Damn Football!
You have got to be $hitting me! My entire relationship with my husband and his family has been me screaming "Go Rutgers!", while they screamed, "We are!" This house will be unbearable on Saturday when they meet for the first time since John and I have been together.

Why doesn't the dog get it?
Not understanding why my dog looks at me like he is the one with an issue.
I go down to the kitchen to find my husband a bit perturbed. I ask him what's wrong and he looks at the dog. I glance around and don't see the DunkinDonuts' box anywhere. I ask my husband how many did he buy because our son is complaining that he only ate one and wanted a second. My husband was nice enough to tell us that it didn't matter anymore since Jackpot, our dog, knocked the box off the counter and decided to sample each one that was left.
Now, I go into the kitchen to make lunch and Jackpot is staring at me, waiting for a treat to be thrown his way (habit). I only got one Boston Creme this morning so I'm not seeing a treat anytime in the near future for him.

In the beginning, when the battle for heaven was won and the rebellious angels were cast into hell, not every angel had a place. Those who hadn't chosen a side were sentenced to exist between the two parallels…earth. The angels who repented were called the Fallen, peaceful angles that existed amongst mankind. Those who rejected their punishment became known as the First, angels that survived by stealing souls.
Over time, a First and Fallen unite and the Protectors were born.
Eighteen year old Mira Daly had one goal, get out of Redding,WY and never look back. That was until her best friend goes missing the day before graduation. Chloe’s disappearance brings back haunting memories of her father, and through the help of some unexpected new friends, the story of who he was and what she’s meant to be unfolds.
With a living, breathing, nightmare determined to destroy her, Mira knows the only way to survive is to accept her fate and meet this demon in battle.
